Do we need a data processing agreement?

No!   Reason:

Since May 2018, for the use of many tools and systems you need an order processing contract for data (DPA), formerly called a data processing agreement (DPA). However, in contrast to your CRM-system, you do not store any personal data in Echobot. As a result, such an agreement is not necessary. Echobot provides you information just like any other search engine. As for the use of Google, there is no DPA necessary, . However, it may be necessary for you to inform stakeholders according to article 14 of the GDPR that you also collect data from other sources. A suggestion to supplement your privacy policy can be found in our Information sheet for order processing.
