EASE is a deep-learning system, specifically designed to recognize business-relevant events (so-called trigger events ) on websites, in news texts and in social media posts. EASE is our unique business signals factory, which has been in use for over five years and on which we are constantly working. EASE is a highly scalable architecture for very precise text classifiers; it is designed to process several million documents per day!

EchoNERD Company Recognizer

Named Entity Recognition and Disambiguation

The EchoNERD is an AI system that recognizes company names in texts. Our EchoNERD matches business-relevant information from several million documents daily to the correct companies. Unlike other NERD systems, EchoNERD is optimized to handle a very large company database that changes daily. Thus, it meets the highest requirements for speed and accuracy.

Echobot Company2vec

The Company Encoder

With our Company2Vec encoder, Echobot has developed a neural network that computes a vector representation from various texts about a company (e.g. via their company descriptions). These vectors can be understood as machine-readable company profiles that implicitly contain information about a company’s industry, field of activity, appearance and size. Thus, Echobot has unique input data for further powerful classifiers for predicting companies, which are part of our software products.

Most Efficient Text Analysis

Echobot analyzes several million documents every day. That’s only possible with the help of our own designed crawler technologies. Therefore, we are constantly researching to further optimize our crawlers and keep them on the cutting edge of technology. One goal is efficiency: Our research department wants to enable the processing of even more documents in less time!

Echobot “owns” a unique data base. Since our start as a media monitoring provider, we have stored millions of online articles in our archives. In addition, we have built up an extensive company database as well as an employee database in recent years. First-class conditions for our researchers!

We Are the Experts

Exciting data and tricky new tasks attract experts – Echobot employs data scientists with different backgrounds: Some are fresh out of university, some of them working in the field for many years. Even their focus differ – sometimes they work more in the field of information, sometimes more in linguistics or NLP. Our research department is headed by Dr. Eng. Matthias Keller, who adds more than a decade of experience in web crawling and information extraction to the team.

The decisive advantage of having headquarters in Karlsruhe? The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is only a few miles away. Echobot cooperates with the university in various research projects – the supervision of master’s theses, the support of courses or in the context of the Smart Data Solution Centers (SDSC).
